1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Sonura ("Service"), operated by Sonura Studio ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Description of Service
Sonura is an AI-powered music creation platform that allows users to create audio content including beats, loops, vocals, sound effects, one-shots, and full tracks ("Created Content"). The Service includes:
- Text-to-music creation
- AI sample and sound creation
- Track composition and arrangement tools
- Stem export functionality
- Community sharing features (Sketches and Samples)
3. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Content Ownership and Licensing
This section explains who owns what and how content can be used.
4.1 Your Created Content
You retain ownership of the Created Content you create using Sonura. Subject to the licensing terms below, you have full commercial rights to use, sell, distribute, and monetize your Created Content without royalty payments to Sonura.
4.2 Public Content: CC0 License
All content shared publicly on Sonura is released under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0 1.0) Universal Public Domain Dedication.
This applies to:
- Public Samples: Any samples created and shared publicly via the Samples feature
- Public Sketches: Any tracks shared publicly via the Sketches feature
Under CC0, public content can be:
- Used by anyone for any purpose, including commercial use
- Modified, remixed, and built upon
- Used without attribution (though attribution is appreciated)
- Used without permission or notification
By sharing content publicly on Sonura, you irrevocably dedicate that content to the public domain under CC0. This cannot be undone once content is made public.
4.3 Private Content
Content kept private remains exclusively yours. Private content:
- Is not accessible to other users
- Is not licensed to the community
- Retains all your exclusive rights
- Can be used commercially by you alone
4.4 Free vs Paid Accounts
- Free accounts: All created samples are public by default and released under CC0
- Paid accounts: Have the option to keep samples and content private, retaining exclusive rights
4.5 Privately Shared Content
Content shared privately (via private links or with specific users) is not released under CC0. Recipients of privately shared content may not use it commercially without explicit permission from the creator.
4.6 License to Sonura
You grant Sonura a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your content as necessary to operate the Service. For public content, this includes displaying it in community feeds and search results.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:

- Circumvent any access controls or usage limits
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

6. Payment and Subscriptions
Paid features are available through subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree that:
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled

- Prices may change with notice; existing subscriptions are honoured until renewal
- Creation credits do not roll over between billing periods unless specified
Payment processing is handled by third-party providers subject to their own terms.

- Your right to use the Service ends immediately
- Your private content may be deleted after a reasonable period
